Stanesby Architecture has been appointed to increase the capacity of an existing hotel, located in Peckham, London.
The existing hotel is formed of three buildings of varying age, condition, and architectural merit, which have been combined to form a single hotel building.
The concept seeks to improve the connections between the three buildings and provide more level access across the site. This will be achieved by creating a new core and lift within the building. Further accommodation is added at roof level in the form of pre-fabricated hotel modules, as means of reducing construction time and limiting closure of the existing hotel.
