Lorrimore Road is an end of terrace house located in the Sutherland Conservation Area in Kennington, London. The property was previously used as a presbytery for the adjacent Church but now stands empty, in a derelict condition.
Stanesby Architecture were appointed to carry out a Feasibility Study to reorganise and enhance the property. From this study, an option to split the house into residential units was agreed and a planning application is currently being prepared.
The proposals seek to provide two residential units across the existing ground and first floors and across a new second floor. The intention is to retain the existing charm and character of the property by utilising the generous proportions of the existing spaces and externally by following the surrounding building lines and material palette.
