Tudor House is a Grade II listed property located in Redhill, Surrey. The original part of the main house was constructed in the 16th Century and there have been various extensions since that time. The most recent, and substantial, being a ‘Tudorbethan’ style, two storey extension running parallel to the main house and added in the mid 19th Century.
In the grounds, and curtilage of the main house, is a smaller stone cottage which also forms part of the project. Both Tudor House and the cottage have been vacant for an extended period of time and are in poor condition.
Planning permission has been granted to convert the main house into charity and community uses with a new build, multi-function space to be constructed to the rear of the main house.
The cottage will be upgraded and renovated to provide residential accommodation and will incorporate a large, sensitive extension to the side and rear.
Stanesby Architecture was appointed in 2016 to provide RIBA Stage 4 Technical Design services. The project is currently on site and due to complete in Q2 of 2019.
