WHO WE ARE

"It’s about Honesty. Good architecture is about letting a site or building be true to its setting, purpose and use."

- Gary Stanesby

ABOUT US

Stanesby Architecture is a London based practice formed in 2016 by Gary Stanesby.

The work of the practice is based on a strong commitment to design and creative dialogue with our clients and consultants. This has allowed us to consistently produce quality architecture which delivers for both clients and end users.

We believe that collaboration at all stages and investing in strong relationships with clients and design teams has led to the success of our projects and practice.

Current projects range from high-end residential and hospitality to community uses and sensitive heritage driven projects.

Our enthusiasm, collective skill base and belief that every project deserves a bespoke design approach, has led to a diverse and expanding portfolio.

MEET THE TEAM

Gary established Stanesby Architecture in 2016 after leaving Purcell UK where he was a Senior Partner. Gary was instrumental in developing the high-end residential and hospitality sectors for the practice.

Gary's key client and consultant relationships have been fundamental to the success of Stanesby Architecture. These relationships have been developed through Gary's ability to deliver the aspirations of the client within the context of challenging sites and historic buildings.

Gary’s passion for Architecture stems from his technical background, where he developed a commitment to unlocking complicated projects through detailed investigation and championing the importance of quality. Gary’s 30 years experience in the construction industry and belief that every project requires a bespoke and considered approach, complements and shapes his company’s attitude to design today.
